Name: Lisollete "the Defender" Bronzeclaw
Age: 17 years
Gender: Female
Species: Otter
Physical Appearance: www.visitsacandaga.com/nature/river_otter.jpg (NOT MY PICTURE!!) She looks like that, only her eyes are blue, and she's taller. Her clothes is a sturdy, but not to heavy, silver helmet with a gold pendant around her neck. Wear's a deep green jerkin and a brown cloak. On her pendant is an insignia (did I spell that right?) which is a sun-setting over the sea.
Personality: A sort of rash, bold otter who doesn't like being part of the crowd. Lisollete adores children, and will fight to the death for every goodbeast that lives in Redwall and Mossflower Woods. Lisollete is very blood thirsty when it comes to sea rats, and is always hungry for battle.
Weapons and Personal Items: A long, slim sword
Have you read the rules?: Taggle Tweedles Twolops
Job: Warrior
Weaknesses/Strengths: Her weakness is that she's to stubborn and thinks AFTER she acts. Her strenghts are battling and battle-planning.
History: Born to a small otter tribe some miles away from Salamandastron When Lisollete was five years old, her tribe was one day found and destroyed by corsairs, all of its community taken be the corsairs slaves. When she turned ten, her parents became ill, but corsairs didn't care. Instead, they only pushed them harder, and they later died of, not by sickness, but by the wips. On that day, her father was able to speak with her before his death. Her mother was already dead, and her father had been thrown down the ladder and into the floor below the deck. Lisollete, who was scrubbing the wood on that floor while her parents were being murdered by the corsairs wips, rushed to her fathers side.
"Father! Father, you're bleeding!" Lisollete sniffled, the corsairs weren't bothering to listen. "Why do they have to be so cruel to us..."
"Hush, young'un..." Her father, said as he patted her on the head, and took out a gold pendant with a sun setting over the sea. "Take this...your great-grandfather passed it down to your grandfather, your grandfather passed it down to me, and now, I pass it down to you..." He said as he got the pendant out of his shirt and into her paws. "Take care of it, Lisollete..." He whispered before his breathing stopped.
Lisollete stared at the pendant, she had remembered seeing it around her fathers neck when she was little, but ever since the corsairs came and enslaved them, it had seemed like the pendant had dissapeared, just as the otters freedom had. "I will, Father, I will..." She whispered before putting it around her neck, and tucked the pendant part of it into her shirt.
When she was thirteen, there was a sea rat (all of the corsairs were sea rats) massacre. The corsairs had taken pigmy shrew children as slaves, leaving there parents corpses to rot on land, and were now working them to the bone. The wipped them becuase of there strange speech, and to push them harded. The pigmy shrew children were dropping like flies!
Lisollete decided to put an end to it, and so she stole the captains blade, and there was soon a dead sea rat captain on deck. The sea rats mood swung from shock to anger as they attacked, most of them were killed, but one of them was able to pin her down. "I'm going to crack that dumb skull of yours..." He snarled.
"DO WHAT YOU WISH, VERMIN!!" She screamed before wiggling free and then cut off his arm, "BUT TRY DOING IT WHILE I DEFEND THE THING THAT WE ALL DESERVE!" After that sentence, all of the slavebeasts were in on it, using whatever they could for weapons.
Even though Lisollete wasn't an expert swordsman, she was still able to attack and defend herself as if she was one. In fact, most of the sea rat casualties were made by her. She was just about to make another kill before the same sea rat that had pinned her down grabbed her by the collar of her shirt. It was then that she realised that her pendant had some how swung out of her shirt during the fight. The sea rat growled and threw her overboard, the sea rat captains sword in her hand.
During her time overboard, she had thought about three pikes, two of them she was nearly killed. By the time she had reached the shore, she was to tired to get up, and soon fell asleep on the sand. She awoke in Salamandastron (she had been discovered and brought to the fire mountain by hares) where she ate a full meal, bathed, had her energy restored, and got new clothing. The badger who was protecting and leading Salamandastron even forged her a new sword, slim and tall. The badger had a duaghter named Serra, and Lisollete and Serra were quick friends. The otter-maide turned sixteen when the male badger showed her the Echo Cave and the tomb of his father.
"Don't you think this otter looks like you, Lisollete?" He asked.
Lisollete shrugged. "Yeah...I guess it does..."
"Do you know why?" He asked.
"I don't know."
The badger smiled. "That's becuase she is you...Lisollete the Defender..." Lisollete had a new name, and it was Lisollete the Defender. A month later he forged her a silver helmet. Then he sent her off, followed by her badger friend Serra, to Redwall.
Relationships: Her friend, Serra the Badger.
(ooc: I'll put Serra the Badger up later.)
(and just for the bloody heck of it) Theme-song: Innocent Sorrow (made by a Japanese band that I do not know the name of)
