Night was falling when the gigantic horde was settling back down from another sweep through of the surrounding lands. Danarth was on a walltop looking over his Army...That which he thought of as his future empire. Lit torches behind him made him seem larger..Drool ran down from his lower jaw which was covered in fresh blood which also dripped from his mouth.
Decay had settled back down in his tent Then remembered Taggle. He called him over. "Luckily for you your friend heeded my advice and left the cave.....would like some food? Its not much but it could keep moving..." his whispering voice said handing him some bundles of spinich leaves with a few onions.
A guard from the walltop called over to Danarth. "My lord Danarth! Somthing is comming from the woods!" he shouted running over to him and kneeling before him.

Taggle approached the food cautiously. "fanks" he said, eating salad like substance. Eat was withered and bitter, but he was so hungry he didn;t care. He would eat anything, so long as it provided nourishment. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` The vermin approached the remains of Castle Floret from the woods, as it loomed before him like some great broken toy of a giant. Presently, he reached the castle, scratching his flea bitten hide.

Danarth took his flail from the guard beside him. The gates opened and the guards circled the vermin. Each of the wildcats had a long spear which they kept jabbing into the vermins side to get him moving. At the front of the gates Danarth stood there with his mace. His mouth open and drool dripping from his mouth. Blood stains were all around his mouth on his fur. If this Vermin was real he would indeed be frightend...

Rillbrook did not have to act. He was afraid. He bowed at Danarths feet, saying nothing. His vermin disguise hid him well. Taggle would not have recognized him.... not that he would have regocnized him in the first place.

Danarth looked behind his should seeing the vermin begin to walk off as if nothing happend. In one mighty leap he jumped twoards the creature swinging his flail down. As he landed the flail head hit the stone floor and shattered the stone it hit. "Where do you think your going...." the deep and foul smelling voice said. Several slaves around him began backing up knowing almost excactly how Danarth took being ignored...they began to quiver in fear....

Rill looked at his footpaws. They were dirty and mud caked from his tromp through the forest. His entire body was in fact. He reeked. BLade wouldnt let him back into camp without a wash... he shuddered at the thought.

"You creature....." he said bending down and wrapping his claws around the Vermins neck and lifting him up off the stone floor. He sniffed around the vermin."You are not what you appear to be....Decay!"
~~~~
Suddenly Decay heard his name in a loud boom of thunder. He ran from his tent and a kneeled before Danarth. "Yes my Lord..speak for you servant hears...." his whisper of a voice said. "Take this...thing and chain him with the rest....He will be a good stone puller...." the Dominating voice said. His eyes began to glow a faint red as he stared into the otter's eyes...
Rillbrook allowed himself to be dragged to the slave line silently. He passed a small otter on the way, struggling under the weight of a heavy stone. " Taggle!" he thought. The otterbabe looked sad, emaiated, and forlorn. Rillbrook knew what he must then do. He was vaguely aware of being strapped to the slave chain. He then began to pull the heavy rock, feeling the wound in his back pulse with every move. He looked at Decay with disgust. He was only stopping him from completing his mission.
Decay looked back at the Vermin but his eye cuaght a rip in his costume at the paw. Through it he could see a small star. Decay grabbed the vermin by the throat and pulls him aside drawing a visious looking knife that splits in the middle. He presses it to the vermins throat. "You are no rat...." his whipser of a voice said gritting his teeth.
