After seeing Blade leave due to Irvine's silent gestures, Silas was overcome by curiosity. He set his spoon down and walked after Blade, trying to see what they were communicatingso intently about. Twenty paces out of the cave, he stopped in his tracks. Ships too numerous to count lined the shores. Vermin ships. He looked fist towards them in wide-eyed surprise, then at Irvine, not speaking the obvious question, 'What are we gonna do now?'

"Hey Silas..." Irvine called over to him. "What say we go on a trip to...oh...I dunno...Redwall?" he said smiling.

"Uh, sure." Silas said, puzzled at Irvine's sudden change of mood. He was planning to go to Redwall for some tim now, but he had never gotten around to it.

"Great! Blade...Rally the Holt..." He commanded. "Aye Skip!"
The entire cavern was now bustling with otters gathering supplies for the long journey to Redwall. The Skipper leaned in to Silas, "What do you think about...ya know...the ships..."

"Uh..." Silas replied, following the otter. "Well, there's clearly a lot of 'em..." He couldn't help but state the obvious, as his mind was already a mixture of fruit salad, tossed about countless times to blend everything into an awkward mess that somehow still functioned. He gathered up his backpack as they reached the cave, and in the pouring rain looked expectantly about for something to do.

He turned to Silas and put a paw on his shoulder looking out towards the ships. "Dontcha' worry mate....we'll make sure yer as comfortable as possible..." he said merely seconds before knocking him out with a swift swipe of his paw.
Hours later when Silas began to come around....
He was on The Skipper's back with the other running with haste through shallow river with the rest of th holt. They made good time too. The Otters of the skipper's holt could run for hours without growing tired...it was only when they stopped that they would get tired....

Silas sighed, feeling the sore spot on his head. "Thanks for the nap." He said in sarcasm as the holt ran along. "You can put me dowm anytime."

The Skipper Stopped, hurling the beast in front of him into the water almost in a body slam. "Didnt hurt ye did i?" he said, the other holt member laughing with him.

" 'Course not." Silas said, shaking off the water as well as the landing. Spitting out some water, he moved back to the holt, falling in step with them. "It's just that I could sleep without your help."
