"Im sorry to hear that...but is that somthing that you'd allow to put burden your mind..." he said quite intelligently. For he himself had been through the same type of things.

"Maybe I just let it sit there..." Silas pondered upon the subject a moment, agreeing with that statement in sullen silence. He knew that his father's death was still present in his mind. But still, that wasn't all that was troubling him. He knew something else was there...

"Well, er, it's kinda... personal, you know?" He said, looking towards Irvine, hoping but not expecting a bit of understanding from the otter.

Silas couldn't help but grin at the otter's antics, shaking his head as well. Getting up, he looked back to the table, still hungry.

The skipper glanced at him from the corner of his eyes. He sighed, grabbing another bowl of soup. "Here...."

Silas, still cautious of getting drenched with soup, looked towards Irvine nevertheless.

In a mad rage he grabbed a fork slamming it into the table beside Silas's paw. "Eat It!" he shouted making the entire holt silent.

Silas flinched as the fork landed in the table. Saying nothing, he ate, not one to question Irvine too often when he was like that.

The Skipper sighed turning around, kicking a wooden bucket which accidentally hit an otter in the face. The other otter said nothing in fear of upsetting the Skippers past emotions as a vermin captain.
The Skipper walked out to the cave entrance, sitting down on a nearby rock letting the rain fall on him.

Silas looked around as he ate, hearing the thump of the bucket, wincing as it hit the other otter in the face. He silently wondered why he seemingly provoked Irvine, trying to hide from the gaze of the other holt members.

The skipper looked down at his feet shaking his head in shame and frustration. He looked up and back down again but quickly looking up again. He stood up looking off in the distance within second he was dashing down the side of cave entrance to the ground below.

Silas, meanwhile, ate his soup in silence, his thoguhts elsewhere, mostly upon the subject irvine wanted him to explain to him, but the squirrel held back. Not only because it was personal, but because it was mildly embarassing as well.

Irvine crouched behind the bushes at the edge of the road looking out to sea. Corsair ships with black sails with lit fires easily able to be spotted. "Well they sure dont look like their scared of being spot...One...two...no wait...five....no no...13...well hold on...thats a large mass of ships there....what banner are they under..." Irvine dropped his bow. "Dannarth...." He ran back to the top of the cove. "Blade! Get over here!" he shouted to him in another mad rage. Blade shrugged his shoulders upon hearing him but immediately rushed over. They began talking with with gestures towards Silas and towards the sea.
