Name: Marcus Hawkeye
Gender/Species: Male Squirrel
Age: Old!
Physical appearance: Mostly athletic build, built up by training as a Reguban warrior, and as a slave. Has numerous scars and cuts from the daily tortures of Danarth's army. Somewhat ragged but defiant look in his blue eyes, a trait Silas inherited (Not the ragged part, though). Has a distinctive mark on his left paw, from being branded by Zalutar's father, The symbol a circle with a triangle, representing the three main vermin ports that run on slaves. Not much in the way of presentable clothing, due to his emaciated state.
Weapons/Personal Items: Well, he managed to stash some broken pieces of glass and a wood stick as an assailant tool, but not much else.
Personality: Marcus' personality is hardened, more bitter, from the harsh conditions and grim slaughter that his captors had committed. He has a defiant, restless air about him, despite his growing age.
Job: He's a slave, what d'ye think?
Strengths/Weaknesses: His main strengths are his expertise in combat, which he taugh his son nearly all he knew. He also is good at insults and persuasion, having been a diplomat for the Council before his clan vanished, and the four leaders went to three at his capture. His weaknesses include, but are not limited to old age, Not seeing things clearly with his left eye due to an injury while defying a slaver, and taking risks within the slave community, which the others assume is unnecessary.
History/Background: He was the leader of the Western clan of squirrels, who immigrated to Mossflower across several ships. He is the descendant of the original leader from Amanula Giove, which in their language means Serenity Island. That was before it was overrun by pirates, seeking to plunder the finest works of their metalsmiths, carpenters, cooks, etc... He has lived in seclusion since the clan dissapeared, and he does not like to talk about the event. He settled down in Noonvale, where he took his wife, Reina (In their language just meant Rain, Ask me about it if ye want...) gave birth to Silas, and he began training him the ways of the Reguban warrior.
Other: "The arrow is a wondrous tool, son, but it is only that, a tool, with one purpose. Use it well, and only within that purpose." -From first day of training with Silas at around age 5.
