Blade suddenly spewed a whole mouthful of ale as he heard the question. he huntched his shoulders think of an answer. A few seasons back he went back thank them properly for the deeds they had performed only to find the place abandoned with many corpses. he didnt want to get into large detail so he kept it simple once again. "Well... Thev passed on..." Blade noticed that when blade tried to exsplain death a few days back he didnt understand so he decided it was best to just tell it simple like. " Well matey...he's ceased to Exsist...he aint around no more...he's at the dark forest now... " he knew he might have said to much but the otterbabe had to understand somtime or another.

Taggle sighed deeply, and looked down at his feet. He slowly jumped off the bench he was on, his food lay un-eaten on the table. Taggle went to the very front of the ship, where a box sat unused. He hid behindn it, the keening winds blowing around him. Here, no-one could hear him cry. The small otterbabe looked out at the gray sea, tears springing unbidden down his cheeks.

Taggle cried, for a long time then finally stopped. He looked out, and saw land. He really didn't know what to think..or say. Momma and Papa were....gone. They weren't coming back. He wondered where they were, it was kind of hard to tell as night was falling. He slipped out from behind the box, hoping Blade wouldn't see him.

" One-eye! Make for that large cove!" he shouted the order. It was beggining to get dark again and they needed shelter. A starom was already brewing out at sea and they needed out of the rain. They would go to shore in the morning after the rain stopped. " One-eye! See if ya can find Taggle! Put 'em ta work! hualin' the ancor er somthin' The wind is beging to blow harder! C'mon matey!"

Taggle ran into one-eye, and began to haul the anchor. It was long and slippery work, and Taggle narrowly avoided being swept overboard by One-eye saving him. After the anchor was hauled, Taggle went belowdecks, wandering aimlessly. He felt like his heart and mindn had been shattered. His brain didn't even register the fact that his stomache was hungry. Taggle figured he must be pretty deep down in the ship, as the lanterns were dimmer and dust gathered in the corners.Taggle snapped out od depression with suprising speed, and bagan to make a game of it. He saw a shadow, and began to follow it. The shadow stopped at a big dusty door, that was locked. Spooky noises emitted from inside.

(oh, fine. be that way.)
Taggle looked around cautiously, and opened the door. Inside was a nightmare! rows of shelves upon rows of....something. Taggle did not know what it was. He walked along one of the long aisles, not knowing whether he was supposed to be there or not. Or..how he had gotten there, since he wandered aimlessly.

Blade walked up from behind taggle and pulled him out and slamed the door shut. Taggle had found the Habberath Reddust Stock. There were over 70 large sacks in that room. He looked down at taggle while blocking the door.....his face was striaght and serious for a mounment before grinning an awkward smile.

Taggle sighed, and went up to the deck and began to mop, not an easy job. The mop was three times bigger than him, and he kept tripping over the bucket. He cut a comical sight, yet he radiated sadness. After a couple of minutes,he started to stare deep into the oceans depths, lost in thought. To his credit, the deck was pretty clean.

Blade looked at the deck and was quite please. He turned to One-eye at the ships wheel. " Get is in that water cave One-eye! " He shouted. "Aye sir!" he shouted back. The wind was whiping quite harshly and the lightning was getting more deadly looking. There was a crack of lightning that hit the mast of the ship cuasing it to splinter and shater in to peice. The main part begun to sway before crashing into the ocean. Luckily Oneeye was able to steer the ship in the cave. Several otters jumped out on the rocky ledge in the cave with ropes. they tied it as best the could to whatever they could find. Suddenly the rain began to pour. " Another successfull docking....If only Irv could see me now......eep!" he said covering his snout.

Taggle snapped out of his revrie as lightning hit the mast. It brought back painful memories. He ran away from the mast and up a flight of steps, straight into On-eye. His eyes were wide with terror. He hid behind him and asked. "whorra you sayed, mista one-eye?"
