Taggle yawned, and went into the cabin Blade pointed him into. He clambered up onto the bed, and promptly fell asleep. But all was not well in the land of dreams. Taggle was back on the slave ship, chained to an oar 3 times his size. He hadn't eaten in days. When he did eat, it was a tastless porridge-like mush. Then the captain cae down. The captain hated Taggle, ever since he had invaded Taggles holt. He commanded his first mate to beat taggle with his whip. With the first strike, Taggle cried out in pain. The whip hit him, over and over....Then Taggle woke up, shaking. That was his worst nightmare in a while. Then he cautiously went up on deck, tip-toeing past Blades room where he thought he heard soft snores. As he reached the bow of the ship, he saw it, a thing out of nightmares. A ship with tattered and bloodred sails, each rock of the ship bringing screams of souls that were continually in torture. The water turned red in its wake, due to the red coloring of the ship. As the cold night winds blew across Taggle, he shivered, through not from the cold. He recognized that ship! The very ship that had killed his entire holt so many seasons ago...

" Sails Out!" Shouted Blade who was at the front of the ship. Otters began Rushing to the top of the boat all dressed in black cloaks. They all weilded double rapiers and some even carried longbows. Most of the one with longbows climbed the sails though. Suddenly 4 otters came up from the bottom of the boat with 2 sacks each. Each filled with small red powdery bags that could be held in the palm of thier hand. It was the Dreadful Habberath Reddust....

Taggle did not notice the otters comng up, and was vaguely aware of Blade giving out orders. Emotions bubbled inside him. Fear, hate,rage... Taggle stood there, hardly noticiable, looking out at the ship, unsure of how to feel.

Blade looked over at the little one. He sighed and ran over to him grabbing him by the scruff of his neck and throwing him up on his shoulders. " How about we get you back into meh' courters 'eh? We wont be long here." he said placing him in the room and drawing out his broadsword.

"otay..." Taggle said, allowing himself to be lifted up onto Blade's shoulders. Then Blade put him in a cabin, and he watched Blade walk off. The small ottercub walked around the room, looking at things, his mind getting distracted by the battle outside. He picked up a small wood carving, on the bottom it read: " To blade, from Irvine." Must've been some kind of Christmas gift. Of course, Taggle knew none of this. He was to young to read.

Taggle heard Blade shout up on deck. He wanted to go up and see the ship, but Blade told him to stay put, so he climbed his way up onto the bed ( a hard job for a dibbun) and sat there. He was to scared to lie down anyway.

" Slavery and Death to all!" a voice shouted from the other ship. Blade paused for a mounment and began to laugh." Gahaha! That the best you came up with?!?!!?". Flaming arrows suddenly began to rain down upon the lance breaker. One crash through the window in Irvines courters landing inches from Taggles inner thigh. "Return fire!" shouted Blade. The two ships began closing in on each other. Soon they would be close enough to board each other.

Suddenly Undertaker Burst through the door. Flames were behind him so that it looked like a living Hell. Undertaker looked extremely frightening. Not to mention he was covered in blood from the operations and fighting. He grinned a Horable grin and Suddenly pushed taggle forcefully out of the way. He grabbed the matress and flug it out of the door at a horde of vermin which were also covered in blood. " Its not safe here anymore matey he said picking up taggle holding him close to his upper body. He smiled an almost comforting smile.

Taggle almost fainted at the sight of undertaker, but at least he didn't have a knife in his hand or something this time. " n..n..not gorra 'urt taggle are ya?" Taggle asked, coughing a little from the smoke now filling the quarters. At this poin, he was ready to totally trust undertaker.. which he had to. The flames licked hungrily at the woodwork, spreading rapidly.

Blade Shouted orders out to all the crew." Douse those flames! Port side! Theres another round comming onboard!"
At the front of the ship there was only chaos...but twoards the back behind the back wall of Irvines Quarters it was peaceful and quite one could barely hear any comotion at all... There was samll rowboat at the back used as a liferaft. Undertaker tied it to the rail of the lance breaker and tossed the raft over board he held taggle close in almost a huggin manner then loss end up and looked at the little one in the eyes. A tear rolled down his cheek. "Now listen matey your gonna have to stay in this raft until things silence themselves over there. I dont want ye gettin' hurt...heh...you remind me of my son before he was killed" he put taggle in the raft and stood up on the rail of the ship"...stay put little un'...I dun' want ye gettin' h---" His words were cut short by an arrow to the throat which spewed blood like a fountian. His body fell limp and he fell into the blue with a spalsh soon followed by the water turning red around it.
